Framing Stories

Every framing project has a unique and heartwarming story.  Take a few minutes to hear from our customers about why they framed their particular piece with us.  You just might be inspired to bring your own piece to ART & FRAME Warehouse!

"My sister and her family gave me an apron that my mother made 75 years ago.  I wanted to preserve it so I went to Art & Frame Warehouse to frame it and hang it in my new kitchen.  I will also treasure the hand stitched apron and have a memory from her for a lifetime!"

"I went to the 1985 World Series with my Dad."

"The piece you see was a gift from WWII veterans, to members of 101st Airborne Division, Pathfinder Company, Direct Support (DS) Platoon.  While in Afghanistan, 1LT William Poling planned a D-day ceremony to commemorate two of the original members of the company. We presented plaques, with pictures of the ceremony, to Jake McNiece, and the other to the daughters of Jack Agnew. Jake and his wife Martha were very adamant about giving me this signed book and photo that you see displayed in the shadow box.  Barbra and Lynn Agnew presented the men of the 101st Pathfinder Company with a photo, signed by Jack Agnew of Eco 506th PIR, while in Bastogne. "

"This picture was taken at the scene of a Hyatt tragedy of Mark Williams the last survivor rescued. They told him he wouldn’t live. He is not only alive, he is an inspiration for all. His legs were ripped from his hips with many severe injuries.  He walks, hunts, fishes, work and most important of all,  he laughs."

"This is a special memento for my grandson who was invited on stage at Spamalot in London. I am always happy with Art and Frame Warehouse's work."

“My mother made this needlepoint piece in the 1960’s and had it made into a piano bench cover. I took lessons on that piano from the age of five to five years of college. We removed it in the late 1990’s when we sold the piano. It’s a lovely reminder of my mother, and of the hours I spent sitting on this and playing the piano!”

"Dave, my husband, and I traveled across a broad cross-section of Costa Rica in 2009.  We explored the rain forest and the Poas Volcano. We stayed in huts in the rain forest experiencing both howler and spider monkeys on the roof and trees.  Also, we stayed at the relaxing resort at Puntarenas on Costa Rica’s Central Pecific Coast.  We loved to visit plantations, the green Turtle Research station of Tortuguero, and a local school. These colorful representations of the people and the vivid wildlife shown in the art of the Costa Rican People help preserve the memories for us."
